The morning cup of coffee has an exhilaration about it which the cheering influence of the afternoon or evening  cup tea cannot be expected to reproduce.”   Oliver Wendall Holmes Sr.

Many a famous person has had something to day  about tea and coffee.

Originally, coffee beans were taken as a food and not as a beverage. East African tribes would grind the coffee cherries together, mixing the results into a paste with animal fat. Rolled into little balls, the mixture was said to give warriors much-needed energy for battle.

When shopping for perfume, take some coffee beans with you in your bag and have a good sniff in between smelling each perfume to refresh your nose! In very little time and with very little money, you can turn green, raw, and unroasted coffee beans into the best-tasting cup of gourmet coffee or espresso you have ever tasted.

Drinking coffee for me is equivalent to chit chatting with Friends   –> well, at least that was how my friends in cebu and cagayan see it.   But when I left for manila…the allure of coffee left me…hehehe….kay nimahal ang kape diri Manila…kidding aside, drinking coffee here is different now. It’s more like just addressing a craving. I guess, the biggest reason for the change is distance from your ka-berks kay pagka-layo tawon sa tanan just to stop by and have coffee at the same time here in manila.  So I guess…this blog is my short of saying, I do miss my friends and our coffee break together!
